In my arms

In my arms:

I desire to see that
Smile on your face
When your lips curl
I desire to embrace
You in my arms and
Feel the winter rays
This feeling is eternal
The feeling that stays
With me and my heart
And my soul and my mind
I wanna look through your eyes
And even turn myself blind
To get a glimpse of you
And a touch of your hands
To play with your cheeks
And to feel every strand
Inside my heart
 I’ll have it engraved
For you my love
I proudly proclaim
The sight of your smile
The fragrance in your name
The magic in your eyes
They drive me insane
I know not what love is
But I know only you
I’ll love you - with all I have
And rest assured, our love shall do!!!

Deserted by my dreams

Deserted by my dreams:

And deserted by my dreams
I stand here alone
My separation from my dreams
And the reasons so unknown

The very thought of it does
Yes it dissolves my eyes
I can’t deny this truth for sure
Instead of all these lies

That I say to myself
In this broad day light
In the dreams in the darkness
Of the dark lonely night

Dreams once alive
Inaccessible today
Buried in my heart beneath
The flesh and this clay

They run away from me
And she’s seen them too
She doesn’t know what they are
She really has no clue

To dream once more
Is my only fear
The reasons so known
So obvious and clear

And deserted by my dreams
I stand here alone
My separation from my dreams
And the reasons so unknown
To me or to her and
 As I stand here alone
Me- separated  from my dreams
I stand here and I moan….!

note:our childhood memories remind us of the dreams that we've always called "ours" -But when those dreams desert a person - the poem is all about that!!!
